On April 23 to April 25 there will be a Gathering of Nations Powwow & Indian Traders Market at University of New Mexico Arena, Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. This is a Pow wow for the Native American Festival that will feature Native American crafts and arts and there will be live bands for entertainment.
The Festival will start from 10:00 A.M. to midnight. Vendors can set up their booth on April 26 at 9:00 A.M. There will be a public admission fee for April 23 the fee will be $10, April 24 $11.50, April 25 $13.50 or a 2 day pass $24. As per last years attendance there were about 130,000 from all over the world.
The parking area will be enough for all visitors and vendors but vendors parking area is behind the arena and RV parking is allowed on the site. There are restrooms available inside the facilities and 12 portable outdoor restrooms. The promoters will provide electricity for most booths and there will be water for the public. There will also be 1 8x8 table with 2 chairs.
The Indian Traders Market is an indoor and outdoor event with cover. This is a non-juried craft show with handmade craft and arts for sale. The promoters have a promotional budget of 50,000 so there will be extensive advertising nationwide. They will post ads online, billboards, direct mail, email, radio broadcasting and TV ad.
The Gathering of Nations Powwow & Indian Traders Market will have handmade crafts and arts but there will be other activities to enjoy from. Other activities will be like the Miss Indian World Traditional Talent Presentations, Gathering of Nations Powwow, Indian Traders Market, Powwow, Music and Food on Powwow Alley, and the Reach The Rez Stage featuring Native musicians.
